# Barsho Systems

> Barsho Systems is an AI automation firm in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, serving the Research Triangle. It designs and deploys AI agents and workflow automation for compliance-sensitive businesses, healthcare and dental practices, SaaS companies, professional services firms, and biotech/life sciences vendors, backed by in-house security and compliance capability (security assessments, HIPAA and SOC 2 preparation, vCISO/vCTO advisory).

The positioning is deliberate: AI automation is the product, and security/compliance discipline is what differentiates it from a generic AI automation shop. Every workflow is scoped for data handling before it is built, what data the system sees, where it goes, who can reach it, and what happens when the model is wrong. Confidential client data is not used to train public models.

Work follows a fixed three-stage path:
1. Free 30-minute call. Includes an honest "there is no project here yet" answer.
2. Fixed-price project against a written scope. No hourly billing on builds.
3. Optional ongoing retainer, vCISO advisory or management of the AI systems built. Month to month, no long-term lock-in.

Fees cover expertise and delivery only. Infrastructure and software (cloud hosting, API usage, licenses) are billed separately, either directly to the client's account or at cost plus a small management fee. Clients retain ownership of their tools and data.
