Coverage

Areas we serve

Based in Chapel Hill, working in person across Orange, Durham and Wake counties, and remotely with businesses anywhere else.

In person across the Triangle

Barsho Systems is based in Chapel Hill. The towns below are close enough that meeting in person is straightforward, which matters for the parts of the work that genuinely benefit from being in a room: staff training, and walking a leadership team through what a security review found.

Chapel Hill

Where the business is. Site visits and in-person sessions are easy to arrange, usually within the same week.

Carrboro

Next door to Chapel Hill, so everything above applies unchanged.

Hillsborough

About twenty minutes north, same county. In-person work is straightforward.

Durham

Roughly twenty-five minutes away. Close enough for regular in-person work, including training sessions and findings walkthroughs.

Raleigh

Around forty minutes. We come out for the sessions that benefit from being in the room and handle the rest remotely.

Apex

Around forty-five minutes, south-west of Raleigh. Same arrangement as Raleigh.

Anywhere further afield, we work remotely, and most of the work does not suffer for it.

What we bring to each

The same two groups wherever you are: cybersecurity work, meaning reviews, HIPAA and SOC 2 preparation, part-time security leadership and staff training; and AI services, meaning fixed-price automation for intake, reminders, document reading and internal questions.

If what you are actually looking for is day-to-day IT support, read the managed IT page first. It explains plainly what we do not do.

Common questions

Yes, remotely. The in-person areas are listed on this page because that is where we can reasonably get to you. Everything except the workshops works just as well over a call.

Yes, across Chapel Hill, Carrboro, Hillsborough, Durham, Raleigh and Apex. Team Security Training in particular is better in a room, and the walkthrough call at the end of a Security Health Check is often worth doing face to face.

Yes. It is a Chapel Hill business, run by a cybersecurity engineer, serving the surrounding Triangle area.
